My name is Carlota Ozalla and from a very young age I had the dream of becoming an artist. However, I never undertook to follow a professional training in connection with art, due to the apprehension of not having to lead professionally. For this reason, I decided to become an architect, a profession that gives pride of place to the artistic and I pursued my passion for drawing in a self-taught way.

When I am immersed in my drawings, I am in a state of meditation which helps me to connect with myself. I feel comfortable and serene in this creative space. Each time I complete a painting, I have the gratifying feeling that my mind is a little fuller. I am a very observant and meticulous person, and this is reflected in my art. I like to capture the smallest details and faithfully represent what my eyes see in my works.

I am passionate about the animal world and nature, which are two recurring subjects in my drawings. I have the impression that we are becoming more and more distant from nature and its wonders, and that we are less and less aware of its importance. With my drawings, I would like to be able to show a little more of this world and encourage awareness.

I believe that art is a very powerful way to convey messages and convey ideas. I continue to develop my skills in exploring new techniques to create works that touch people. My dream is to be able to live from my art, to share my creations with a wide audience and to contribute to making our planet more one and more respectful of nature.
